The organic layer was separated by filtration through a phase separation tube, concentrated in vacuo and purified by flash chromatography on silica gel with CH2Cl2/MeOH to give [(S)-1-(tetrahydro-pyran-4-carbonyl)-pyrrolidin-3-yl]-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester as a colourless gum (0.623 g, 68% yield) LCMS: [M+H]+=299.6, Rt(7)=0.73 min.
