After completion of the reaction, the reaction solution was concentrated,421 g of tert-butyl methyl ether was added, and the mixture was stirred at 3 to 10 C. for 1 hour. The obtained crystals were filtered,The filtrate was dried to obtain 157.68 g of methyl tetrahydropyran-4-imidate hydrochloride (isolation yield: 98%).
